The festival features screening over 25 films with eight special screenings. Some will be shown at the American Theater in Canton, SUNY Potsdam and SUNY Canton.
The events kick off with an opening gala in Ottawa on October 22. It features the 35th anniversary screening of "The Blues Brothers," with actor Dan Aykroyd as guest of honor.
There's a free block party from 6 to 9 p.m. October 23 on the Canton village green. You'll need tickets for the other events.
